Community Kitchens

Our aim has always been to ensure the most vulnerable in our communities don't go hungry. LIFE Community Kitchens operates in 10 locations across Auckland, providing free hot nutritious meals to the community within a friendly whanau environment. We serve over 1,700 meals each week to those who come along to share a meal with us.

Christmas Box

In 2001, a simple idea of providing gift-wrapped food boxes to neighbouring families in need sparked a nationwide movement.

What started as a small initiative helping 40 families has now become one of New Zealand’s largest Christmas charity initiatives, partnering with 400+ organisations to make Christmas possible for more than 30,000 families each year, even reaching to thousands in Australia and the Cook Islands.

Help & Hope Week

Help & Hope Week is your invitation to make a meaningful impact. Over a dedicated week in September, volunteers from across Auckland come together to bring support through hands-on community projects. From garden makeovers and school refurbishments to preparing hot meals and hosting community dinners, these acts of care offer encouragement, dignity, and hope to families and neighbourhoods in need.
