Expansion >>>

Generosity That Overflows

What is Expansion?

Expansion is all about extending the tent pegs of our church. It’s not about covering the day-to-day operational costs of running our church.

Instead, it’s about growing our impact to see the Kingdom of God advance here on earth.

The heart of Expansion is generational impact.

Ultimately, Expansion will always be about people. People like you who carry the vision, and the people we’ve been entrusted to reach.

Our Expansion Offering is a call to partner together financially over and above our tithe giving, to bring Jesus to people around us by sowing seed into three areas across LIFE.

Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favour.

Our Heart for Expansion

"Oil leaves a mark. It impacts what it touches. And in the same way, a life lived through generosity creates change beyond itself. As followers of Jesus, generosity isn’t just something we do, but a call to live out in such a way that it becomes who we are. God pours His fresh oil into us, not to hold onto, but to overflow, carrying His love and kindness into our world. The truth is, because of Jesus, every one of us has something to pour out. Generosity isn’t defined by the size of our gifts, but rather by the posture of our heart. The fullness of generosity is discovered in a willingness to trust God with what we have, and to let Him use it for something greater than ourselves.

This is why Expansion matters.

It’s the tangible expression of God’s generosity through us, creating space for more people to encounter Jesus, extending His love into our communities, and outworking the mission He has entrusted to us.

As we step into this next season of Expansion, we invite you, along with us, to prayerfully consider your part. What might it look like for you to pour out what God has placed in your hands? Whether through a one-off gift or a commitment over time, our generosity plays a significant role in what God is doing through LIFE to reach those who need hope, and positions us to advance His Kingdom.

As you read, explore, and engage with what’s ahead through Expansion, our prayer is that you would see not just what we are doing, but the heart behind Expansion – a people marked by Fresh Oil, choosing again and again to pour out what God has first poured in.

As each of us brings what we have, not only will God be faithful to continue to pour out His supernatural oil (as we read in 2 Kings 4), but we also believe we’ll continue to see lives transformed, communities impacted, and God’s Kingdom advanced.

Together, we can impact and change our generation with the reality of Jesus."

Expansion Offering

Our Expansion Team is made up of Expansion Partners and Builders who are all playing their part to sow seed for generational impact. An Expansion Partner is anyone who has committed towards our Expansion offering. An Expansion Builder is someone with the gift of giving, who is committed to advancing LIFE’s God-given vision through giving significantly over and above tithes.

We’re believing for 2,500 Expansion Partners to give a total of $6 million towards the growth of our Community, Kingdom, and Facilities impact over the next year.

Giving Back and Paying it Forward

"Serving in our Massey Kitchen has become a big part of my life. I love serving because it feels like I’m giving back – for everything God has done in my life, and for the support and kindness I’ve received from my church community. I’m just so grateful for everyone who has helped guide me through it all. I serve with such an incredible team.

Nothing is free anymore – the meals we serve have to be paid for somehow. If someone can give $5 or $10, do it. If someone can give more, do it. I’m 120% on board!

If one of your family members was struggling or hungry, and someone could provide just one meal a week to ease that pressure, wouldn’t that be worth giving to? That’s why Expansion matters."

Finding Home at LIFE

"LIFE felt like home almost instantly. After giving my life to Jesus, I walked down and got my first ever Bible from Ps Liz, who helped me figure out my next step – Alpha. From there, that feeling of belonging only grew stronger every time I came to church.

Since becoming a follower of Christ, I’ve been on fire for the Lord. I got baptised, completed the Alpha and Freedom courses at Night School, joined three Discipleship Groups, and now serve on the Next Steps Lounge team – all to give glory to my Father in heaven.

Since giving my life to Christ, my life is drastically different. God healed me. I stopped drinking alcohol and doing drugs, the dark thoughts left, and I am filled with a peace beyond understanding.

I’m living proof that one invitation can change everything. Someone invited me, people made room for me, and because of that, I found Jesus, healing, and a home. Expansion matters because there are so many people out there just like me – hurting, lost, and looking for hope. When we all play our part, we make space for more people to encounter Jesus and find the same life- changing freedom I did."
