Hey ladies,
Welcome to LIFE Women 2012. This year our theme across LIFE Women is “A beautiful life” – inspired by the verse in Psalm 112:4-9 (Msg). We want to encourage you in living out your beautiful life. No matter what our age we have all been graced and gifted with uniqueness from God to enhance our world. The year is going to be full of inspirational events, opportunities to help in your local community, and groups focusing on connection and bible studies. There is plenty happening across all ages and we would love you to join us. Our evening and day events are designed to equip you to grow in your relationship with God, get incredible teaching and connection, and be inspired to go out and live a beautiful life in God and all He has purposed for you. We also have a number of community initiatives that we would love your help with. They range from visiting the elderly in resthomes, knitting groups for items for Middlemore Hospital, Christians Against Proverty, Love Bank, and working with single mothers. Even if you have just a couple of hours each month, there is something you can do to help others in need. Our bible studies are running each term for 6 weeks with new resource arriving constantly. If you are interested in getting deeper into God’s Word then these studies are perfect. You will find a contact for your location below. We also have connect groups that run each week which is a great opportunity to meet others of like interest - why not invite someone who doesn’t normally come to church to join you. Bible Studies It is with great excitement we have introduced 6-week LIFE Women Bible studies across all our LIFE centres. One of our focuses for 2012 is equipping our women well in the word of God, and we thought what better way to do it than in a small group while at the same time building some friendships with a great bunch of girls. The next study will started for term one. Depending on your centre you may have a choice of either an evening or day time study, so for more details please touch base with your centre contact below. Crèche for the Mornings We have a crèche available for the full duration of our morning events. We would love you to make the most of this so you are able to fully enjoy your time connecting with other ladies. One child: $3, two or more: $4.
Parking Central: For hassle-free parking in the mornings, park at the Tahaki Reserve, and catch a ride on the shuttle bus. There are carparks for mums with babies onsite. At our night events, there is parking in the carpark and the surrounding streets. Coast, South, East, North: Plenty of parking is available onsite.
