This program addresses the four major doctrines of the Bible in everyday language with an approach that will grow Christians and yet is able to speak to the unchurched. It speaks to those who frequently struggle with feelings of anxiety, inadequacy and low self-esteem.

These destructive emotions effect relationships at work, home and in church. The program seeks to identify the source of so many human tensions and introduces participants to the healing power of acceptance, value and belonging.

Some of the issues covered include: the performance trap, peer pressure and people pleasing. It also addresses commonly held misbeliefs all in a context that gives strategies for change.

“As someone who has attended life for quite some time, I have often thought of doing the courses offered, but never felt I have ‘needed’ too. At the beginning of this year I decided it was time to do something to refocus myself for the year. After talking with some friends I decided to attend the Search For Life course. I was unsure as to why I was doing this course but I knew that I should be there. Some people mentioned to me that they thought the course was for ‘new christians’ who needed to deal with stuff from their past. I have to admit, I too thought this. However, as the course progressed I felt that I was there as part of my maintenance of my life. No garden grows well if it is not maintained regularly. Our lives are much the same.
