This course has been created to equip you to raise your children, create great families and become more effective parents. We want to help you develop Christ-centred children and learnto be inspiring leaders in your family.

COURSE CONTENT

The course is delivered with a balance of parenting principles and practical tips. The content covers the foundational principles of biblical parenting including discipline, communication, character and moral development, age appropriate parenting, the stages of child development and parenting styles. You will learn practical ideas for improving your family culture and having fun with your kids. Our panel discussions will include the most common mistakes that we all make and ways to avoid or minimize their impact.

COURSE FACILITATORS

This course is being facilitated by Stephanie and Mark Sewell, with the assistance of several experienced parent coaches. Stephanie is the LIFE Central Children’s Pastor and has been working with children and families for the last 20 years. Stephanie and Mark have taught parenting courses in America, Europe and Australasia and have three wonderful children, ranging from 9 to 13 years old. They helped launch Growing Kids God’s Way in England and are trained facilitators for the Parent’s Inc. Toolbox parenting courses.

No matter how many children you have, or how long you have been a parent, this course is for you! Our approach to family is inclusive of the full range of families, including single parents, blended families and caregivers, so no matter if you have come alone, or both partners are doing this together – you will be blessed with an amazing array of fresh ideas and practical tips.
